A Place to Come From and a Place to Go

“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures”

– Thornton Wilder

The concept of gratitude is at once elusive and simplistic. Yet, in the moments it is harnessed, it offers a powerful feeling that centres and grounds us. As Wilder so beautifully puts it, the conscious acknowledgement of all that is good in our lives, is the experience of being alive.

But in our busy day-to-day lives, distractions are abound. We can lose an ability for stillness and calmness, and lose the opportunity to feel thankful.

This blog is dedicated to promoting awareness of the moments we might take for granted, and even awareness of the moments that present us with a challenge.

What happens if each day, we can come from, and go to a place of gratitude?
